Welcome to my little corner of the World Wide Web. I have designed this
site to share with people of common interests. I plan to include my self written poetry, favorite recipes, collections
of art work gathered over the last couple years, and info for people and/or businesses searching for reasonable web design.
My name, as you may have guessed is Rhonda. I am a 30 years old and live in central Illinois. Married and having 3 children, I've
set my sites on teaching myself web design and establishing a small business, that I can work at from home, while still being with
my children. This site is one of many that I have done.
I have been writing poetry since the age of 12, having been inspired by my Jr. High english teacher, Mrs. Hanning. I remember
way back when, she tried to encourage me to do something with my writing skill. Although I didn't have the courage to do so then,
I have finally followed her advice. Recently entering "The River" into a contest, and so far making it to semi-finalist position. This
poem is also to be published in a compilation of poems later this year. Thank you, Mrs Hanning.
I also enjoy fantasy art. I am hoping to put some of my favorite pictures on this site. One of my favorite fantasy artist being Boris Valeho,
I'm sure you'll eventually find a few of his here.
A few years ago I created my first website using an online builder. Finally deciding that these builders were too limited, I began working on
other sites, experimenting and studying, teaching myself to design and build a site the way I wanted it. Moving on to build sites for friends,
and even a couple small businesses, I've decided this is the way to work from home and still be part of my childrens lives as they grow up. So,
getting my own web design business going good is my next major move in life.
