Taco Noodle Casserole


6 oz. egg noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 c. sharp cheddar, grated
corn chips, crushed
chili powder to taste
salt & pepper to taste

Cook noodles according to pkg. directions. Saute ground beef and onion until lightly browned. Stir in tomato soup, chili powder, salt and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add kidney beans. Arrange in layers of meat mixture and noodles in greased 2 qt. casserole. Sprinkle crushed corn chips over top. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over top and continue baking until cheese is melted.
Serves 6-8
